YeYu AI ("we") values your privacy. This policy explains in plain language how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data. Using the service implies you have read and agreed to this policy in full. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform.

We only collect information that is necessary to deliver and improve the service:

  • Account information: email, phone, nickname, optional avatar
  • Device & logs: IP address, device model, OS, browser, access timestamps
  • Chat & creation content: your conversations, character cards and favourites
  • Payment information: handled exclusively by compliant third-party processors — we never store cards or PINs
  • Feedback: tickets and feedback forms you submit voluntarily

2. How We Use Information

We only use your information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and maintain core services like login, chat and sync
  • Personalise recommendations and improve the algorithm
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Respond to support requests and process feedback
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

Promise: private chats are not used for model training by default. Optional features that require it will ask for explicit consent and can be disabled at any time.

3. Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except in these cases:

  • With your explicit consent
  • With trusted infrastructure providers (cloud storage, CDN, payments) under strict data agreements
  • To comply with lawful legal or regulatory requests
  • To protect users, the platform or public safety where reasonably necessary

All third parties are bound by data protection contracts and may only access data within the authorised scope.

5. Data Security

We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data:

  • Site-wide HTTPS encryption
  • One-way password hashing — engineers cannot read plaintext
  • Regular penetration testing and security audits
  • Least-privilege access controls for internal staff

That said, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your password safe and avoid staying logged in on shared devices.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights over your data:

  • Access & modify: view and update data in Account Settings
  • Export: request a full export of chats and creations (within 24 hours)
  • Delete: remove specific chats, creations or your full account
  • Account closure: data is permanently deleted upon approval
  • Withdraw consent: revoke previously granted optional permissions at any time

7. Minors

The service is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor without verified guardian consent, we will delete it and the associated data immediately. Guardians may contact us at [email protected].

8. Policy Changes

This policy may change due to legal updates or product changes. Material updates will be announced in-product and via email. Continued use indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
