Copyright Notice

We respect every creator's work and have zero tolerance for infringement.

1. Platform Rights

All original content of YeYu AI — site design, logos, brand name, official copy, UI components, client code, recommendation algorithms — is owned by YeYu AI and protected by copyright and trademark laws. No copying, modification, distribution or commercial use is permitted without written authorisation.

2. User-Created Works

Original character cards, worlds, dialogues, settings and artwork published in the Creator Hub belong to their authors. By publishing, the user grants YeYu AI a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, copy, distribute, adapt and create derivatives within the scope of the Terms, solely for platform operations.

  • If the author removes the work, the platform stops active display within a reasonable time
  • Derivative records (e.g. other users' chats based on it) may be preserved
  • The author always retains attribution and disposition rights

3. Third-Party Material

If user uploads include third-party material (illustrations, IPs, literary quotes), the user must obtain proper authorisation or ensure it falls under fair use. The platform is not responsible for unauthorised third-party material but reserves the right to take it down upon a valid complaint.

4. Fair Use Boundaries

Use of copyrighted material may be considered fair use in cases such as:

  • Personal study, research or non-commercial commentary
  • News reporting or commentary that does not impair the original market
  • Fan creations and pastiches (clearly marked as unofficial)

Fair-use determinations are nuanced — consult a legal professional when uncertain.

5. Filing a Complaint

If you believe your work is being used on the platform without authorisation, email [email protected] with the following materials:

  1. Your name, contact information and identity proof
  2. Proof of copyright (registration, original publication link, etc.)
  3. Specific URL and description of the allegedly infringing content
  4. A statement: you believe in good faith that the use is unauthorised and the information is accurate
  5. Power of attorney (if filed by an agency)

We will assess within 7 business days of receiving complete materials and take action (takedown, warning or suspension), then report back to the complainant.

6. Counter-Notice

If your work was taken down by mistake, you may submit a counter-notice within 14 days of receiving the takedown notice, including identity proof, ownership evidence and a non-infringement statement. We will reassess and decide whether to restore the content.

All copyright matters should be handled via [email protected] to avoid further public exposure.
